According to someone knowledgeable about the criminal case against Mel Gibson says the actor will be charged with battery because of a fight with his then-girlfriend. Apparently he has reached a plea agreement with prosecutors.
According to this source, there is a charge of battery with Oksana Grigorieva who he apparently beat in a dispute in January 2010 dispute with Oksana Grigorieva. Prosecutors are still undecided whether or not to charge Grigorieva with extortion, which is Gibson’s counterpunch.
Blair Berk, Gibson’s lawyer, said Gibson is making the plea agreement after caring for his children’s interests including the infant daughter that he fathered with Grigoriev.
